Wayne Norrie

From a technology background and working all around the globe, Wayne has deep experience in sales, management and leadership. Also founding his own company Revera (with his business partner), he led it through rapid growth and a successful exit.

Wayne has since assisted many companies with strategy and growth, and also mentored leaders and CEO’s who want to grow great global companies.

His previous positions include Chairman of Online Republic, Hi Tech Trust, Fronde, Maven, Team BLM, NZTE Beachheads, and Director of Aspeq.

Wayne was awarded the 2016 IDC Outstanding Contribution to the NZ Technology sector, and the 2016 AUT Leadership Award for contribution to business.

He is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors, a member of the WCNZ (World Class New Zealander) network, a Fellow of the NZ Institute of Management and a judge for the NZ Export Awards.

Wayne is also a popular speaker on Governance, Culture, Strategy, and Leadership, and currently holds the role of Chairman of the Resero Board.

 
 
 

Andrew Jones

Andrew is a Director of PKF Corporate Finance and leads the team across the Sydney and Newcastle offices.

Andrew is Chairman of PKF’s Global Corporate Finance team and Chairman of PKF Australia’s National Corporate Finance Committee.

Andrew provides lead advisory services with respect to merger and acquisition transactions, divestments and capital raising (equity and debt); transaction support services including acquisition due diligence, vendor due diligence and investigating Accountant
Reports and valuation services including Independent Expert Reports.

With more than 30years’ experience, Andrew has provided corporate finance advisory services to clients across a wide range of industries including financial services; mining and mining services; real estate; transport and logistics (airlines, railways, shipping and road); infrastructure (ports, energy, airports and railways); manufacturing
and distribution and technology.

In 2017 Andrew was appointed as a non-executive director of Resero following his role as Resero’s financial advisor for the acquisition of Sebel Furniture.

Deb Shepherd

Deb is a Senior Lecturer in Management and International Business at the University of Auckland Business School where she teaches in the area of Entrepreneurship. Her research and teaching focus on social entrepreneurship and innovation, entrepreneurial education and the entrepreneurial mindset, entrepreneurial SMEs, and family businesses.

Deb is a co-author of the book “Changing gears: How to take your kiwi business from the kitchen table to the board table.” At the University Deb is involved in the student-led initiative Velocity and is the academic faculty director of the Velocity Speaker Series programme. 

Deb is a founding faculty member of The ICEHOUSE Growth programmes and has been involved in the development, design and delivery of the Owner Manager business growth programmes for SMEs from all sectors and industries since 2001.

Deb is a part owner and on the board of Pet Doctors Ltd and BioCell Corporation and sits on a number of advisory boards including NZTE’s Better By Design, Resero, Onguard, Mons Royale, and Forrest Wines. Deb is an investor and board member of Soul Capital (NZ’s first impact investment fund) and an investor in ICE Angels (including the Tuhua, Flux and First Cut Ventures funds). Deb is the deputy chair of the government appointed Small Business Council.

 
 
 

Brendan Jackson

Brendan is the current CEO of PKF Carr & Stanton Chartered Accountants in Hastings, and also sits as an Advisor on the Board of PKF New Zealand Resero Ltd.

Brendan is the Director and Shareholder of Design Spun, Firma Properties Ltd, Southern Woolpacks Ltd (Dunedin) and Woolpacks NZ Ltd (Napier).

His background is in chartered and commercial accounting, but has a strong focus on strategy, values and outcomes, sales and marketing, digital marketing, change management, and business and professional development.

Brendan lists his key drivers as:
